Pardon my absence. Been too busy experiencing Super Happy Fun Stuff to write about them.
Namely with my new pup who I met just outside Trader Joe’s.
She was on her way BACK to the shelter and something in her eyes told me I needed to step in and save her.
Come to found out we are the perfect match. She is the super(ist), happiest, most fun creature around.
Her name is Uli which means noble leader in German (and Bumble Bee in Russian) and she loves her water sports as much as I do.
Which brings me to the buzzzz I wanted to share about a leader in his own right.
If you follow surfing you would know him and you may have seen him in The Cove.
His name is Dave Rastovich and he has now come out with his own film called Minds In the Water.
A wonderful documentary about his quest to bring global awareness to the conservation of marine mammals.
This Australian will be taking his single sail expedition on the road.
He will be continuing his efforts in the U.S. and will sail from Santa Barbara to Baja.
Stay tuned for updates about his journey.
And try to catch a screening if you can:

Sweet doggie!!! You look so happy!!!
So happy with this little bundle of joy. She’s amazing!

“To me, you’re either an activist or an inactivist.” ~ Louie Psihoyos | quote from The Cove
With eleven of you, I make a dozen. With ninety-nine of you, I make a hundred. But I cannot do it without each and every one of you. You matter! Never give up! For the Dolphins.
Too true!
